13. 4. 2007 - Eemeli celebrated his second birthday
We celebrated Eemelis second birthday in April. We spent the day doing all kinds of fun things and finally had a cake made of meatballs and wieners. The birthday boy wouldn't come to picture but we managed to get one picture of Eemeli wearing his party hat.

23. 4. 2007 - Eemeli is the medium sized show podengo of the year 2006
Eemeli won the medium sized podengo show dog of the year competition and placed third in the overall competition with 48 points. The Finnish Portuguese Podengo Association announced the results in the Tampere international dog show. Small wire haired podengo male Faidros Honesto won the competition and small smooth haired podengo male Tähtitaivaan Niko placed second. In the medium sized class Eemelis father Vehkakallion Bemvindo placed second and the third place and the best female award went to Pontus' mother Espora de Veiros.

Pontus participated in both puppy and open class in the competition. In the open class Pontus placed 15th with 30 points, but Pontus didn't get in the open class until August. In the puppy class Pontus shared the fourth place with small wire haired bitch Borboletta. Vehkakallion Charlotta was the best medium sized podengo in the competition while small smooth haired bitch Jane do Vale do Cutilero won the puppy class.
